Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Savannah WheaT, MA
Savannah is passionate about empowering folks to tap into their inner strengths and abilities to heal from their pasts and build themselves back up. She has worked with a variety of people, including individuals battling addiction, mental heath disorders, and past trauma; adolescent boys involved with the criminal justice system; and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Savannah also works with children and teenagers to improve their mental health through developing healthy coping skills, knowledge of their emotions, strengthening their support systems, and building self-compassion. Savannah offers expressive arts therapy to connect to our inner creative spirit, often lost as we grow older, through different art forms: writing, movement, sound/music, and visual art. Savannah is trained in providing EMDR therapy and is currently working on becoming a play therapist.
Outside of the office, Savannah loves animals and the natural world, reading, superheroes (Marvel and DC), playing video games, and doing arts and crafts.
